Step 4 Bind Data To The Component

Firstly, we need to add components to the dashboard of the current project, as shown in the image below:

Switch to the “Data” settings interface,where you can see that the data includes “Project Public Data” and “Widget Private Data”.

“Project Public Data” is the data added to the project by adding a data source, which can be used by all components in the sub-dashboards within the project.

“Widget Private Data” is the sample data built into the current component. Newly added components use component-specific data by default.

The process of adding data is shown in the following figures:

**Step 1:**Click the cross on the right side of the field to delete the Widget Private Data field already set in the component field.

**Step 2:**Drag the data fields from the **”Project Public Data” **into the fields.

In this way, the data has been successfully bound to the component.
