Import File Data

Wings Engine supports local file formats including Excel, CSV, and JSON.

In the Connect Data tutorial, we have already introduced the steps for adding data sources. In the “Connect Data” window, simply click the corresponding button.

1. Select File Type

For example, select the Excel button.

2. Add Excel File

In the “Connect Excel” window, click or drag to add an Excel file.

After adding, the new data will be displayed in the window.

Note: After adding a new data source, the file will be copied to the project directory. If you want to modify the data file later, you need to modify the copied file in the project directory.

Click the “Confirm” button in the bottom right corner, and the data will appear in the “Project Public Data” area at the bottom right of the interface.

The method for adding other types of files is the same.
